But what is the need of a shipping company when there is another much faster mode of transport is available, i.e. airplanes? This is because the cost of using the shipping companies for the cargo as well as for transport is much cheaper than that of the airplanes.
But when it comes to the movement of cargo with the help of a shipping company, a timely and proper delivery becomes the paramount identity of the shipping companies. But, the competition is increasing in all kinds of business and so in the shipping industry. Hence, no shipping company wants to lose their credibility just because of poor delivery service. So, most of the shipping companies are performing their duty with care.

So, each and every shipping company needs to keep a proper balance between the differential laws and regulations of different places. This can sometimes be a reason for the delay in the shipment of the cargo.
